In Corona times, the menus are, understandably, very narrow. But the surprise came from the waitress: "We also have something that is not on the menu: saddle of deer!" What a culinary delight, with baked potatoes that were crispy garnished on the edge. Before that, a delicious pumpkin soup ..... and the crowning glory: nut ice cream with a little egg liqueur addition .... I almost forgot the cappuccino .. Short waiting time and great food. Ate a very tasty surprise menu. Jens Stempel shows many creative refinements in his menu that reinterpret the regular food from the menu. The philosophy can be described like this: regional products, regional wines, empathetic hospitality and a modern, discreet ambience. We ate excellent, were well advised and had nice conversations. Price performance ratio under all sow. Rooms have not been renovated for decades. From the outside hui from inside pfui. If you like watching TV is there with boring 4 programs ........ just rubbish and expensive !!!!

This was our first time in the restaurant. We liked it very much! The decor is up to date, very lovingly decorated. The food was excellent with many details skilfully prepared. Very good wine selection, fast and courteous service. Highly Recommended!

Nice restaurant! Hotel is so-so... Is costs all iys money....

Not a striking hotel (decent prices!) But the viticulture environment makes it worthwhile to stop over overnight. Great kitchen and slightly dusty rooms that may gradually be given a makeover. (summer 2018) My evening walk through the vines overlooking the lower village made everything more than good. I will come there more often!

Didn't like to have a lunchstop on the highway so taken an exit and found this restaurant. Very good food and friendly staff. Pitty we didn't had the time for the menu. I can recommend this restaurant.

We were here today, after the house, the guest room and the adjoining room are renovated. Everything is new, modern and friendly. We liked it very much. My wife was on the vegetarian surprise menu and was very satisfied. In the appetizer, the "yellow tomato" turned out to be Onsenei. Delicious! At the main course, a spicy primal carrot and surprisingly filled marshmallows at dessert were surprising. My beef broth with marrow balls and vegetable strips was very good. Likewise, the perfectly roasted rump steak. We were very satisfied. Recommended for every taste.

Sweet, partially modernized restaurant. Nice and attentive service 👍 Nice variety of food and menu follow. The wine list was very extensive and I was able to drink a perfect "blue Portuguese". The food was of good quality and it was prepared with a lot of effort, but I missed a little whistle.

I stayed here with my mom when we were on our way back to Holland from Austria. We actually came across this hotel by accident but i'm glad we did. When we went to the reception there was a really nice and helfull lady who showed us to our rooms. The rooms were very tidy and clean and the beds were comfortable. Also the bathroom was nice a good shower and not to small. The breakfast the next morning was very tastefull. the only thing is that we had a room next to the street so till late at night and early in the morning we could hear cars. But if you use earplugs it's not a problem, for the price we payed it was perfect. In short i would come here again!!

Little bit old fashioned, but people are friendly and the breakfast was really good. People are mostly german speaking. Parking available for guests and close to the autobahn 61. I spent 48 euro 's for a room+breakfast. I didn't make use of the restaurant, just the hotel.
